One thing i must say is that i am super not use to travelling around in Uni, be it NUS or NTU. It's a lot of walking and if u dont noe the way, that's it! hahas.. you noe. I studied in small schools for the past few years. Anywhere is within few metres, it's easier to move around. hais. It's not that i'm lazy to walk you see... it's the time spent, perspiration, directions and everything. probably i will get use to it real SOON. geeees...
It's quite FUN day! Having the honour to be the Emcee for the event. It's a good exposure and experience for me. Thanks to AMANDA for giving me the opportunity. Psst! She said that my partner and i did a good job! woot! My partner is a year 2 guy from school of mathematical sciences in NTU, Aaron Chiang. Nice meeting him and we actually click in less than an hour. not too bad! nice guy fren indeed.
Hope that i will have more such opportunities to gain even more exposure! =)
Some reflections from some of the talks done by our fellow rotarians.
After rotaract, what's next?
I think for me presently, i can say that it is rather early to decide. probably i need some considerations. Furthermore, this is only my 3rd year in RACNW. Still early and young to decide.. hahas! 18 nia.. the age grp for rotaract is 18 - 30. and now, i'm only at the starting point. I still have a LONG way to grow. To develop further professionally, mentally, and many many more. So.. in conclusion. We'll see. Make dreams real first~! Hahas!
Currently I do have a few personal targets. Ever since I stepped down from my latest employment, not only i have been slacking and resting at home, i have been focusing on my tuition and driving lessons. So for that, my savings from my previous job has decreased tremendously! now, you can say that i am quite penniless. hahas sad ba? therefore, thanks to my good fren zhiping's reminder, i have to save for my future.
So now! i wanna embark on a saving plan and cut down on my spendings. I have attempted to save previously and i managed to save but... now i have spent it all..! sian! and so dumb!
Now, i have to restart it all over again! =) thanks zhiping my dear fren for her reminder. she's like my finance advisor. hahas..
so target one: Save money, cut down spendings!
and now for target two: Get my driving license by the end of this year 2008. I must try hard oh! Currently i'm in the midst of my driving practical lessons. Hope that it's a one time pass. however, i got a feeling that i may jus merely scrap through or fail. We'll see, alright?!
In summary:
Target 1: Save and cut down spendings!
Target 2: Driving license by end of 2008!
