i drove to rochard and vivo

I had some interesting activites recently.
aww... definitely not those sweet and sleazy stuff that most ppl do on valentine's Day.
I actually wanted to stay at home the whole day to rest and do some work. Manage to be rather productive on that day.

I am even cut off from the reality by just stuff earphones from the lappy to my ears and got myself totally absorbed into the virtual world. Poor florence trying very hard to contact me but to no avail.

My phone was set to silent and my ears are stuffed with earpiece. thus i totally cant hear much; doorbells and phone ringing. Total tranquility. Yes, definitely peaceful. And solitairity.

And it's not that i am absorbed into reading my theories for New media, but my visual comm design assignment. I can be totally absorbed when i am doing photo manipulation or designs stuffs. yes but of course not readings. unless i am reading some interesting novels like Twilight and stuff.

Okay. So sweet of Florence. she made me a cutie lollipop bouquet with a heart-warming Vday message from her. There are 3 sticks of lollipops altogether. She wrapped them herself! so nice.
It really brightens up my dull afternoon! hahas.

allor! Something big happened to me on Sunday. or maybe i should say big. This might be insignificant in others' perspective. I should rephrase it.

My small milestone of my life after the one which is i got my driving license.

Sunday is the first time i get to drive, without my dad's supervision. Yes, on my own. like totally!
Co0l yea?! Officially, after i have got my driving license, he only supervise me once only. fetching mum back from work.

I drove to Orchard and then from orchard to Vivo, lastly going back home.
Driving on orchard road is exhilerating! A busy road i must say. Also, damn hard to find carparks. if wanna find somewhere cheap also very difficult. damn sian. It cost me 6 plus bucks to park in ngeeanncity just for less than 2 hrs. darn!

wasnt familiar with the roads though. Thanks to gang who is willing to sit with me to orchard to give me directions.

The worse part of lost in city is driving from orchard to vivo. I have checked the map, but wasnt sure how to get back on CTE to AYE. thankfully, somebody in my car has the GPRS function.
Hence, manage to find the directions with her directions plus some of gang's instructions and also my intuition. hahas!

It felt like total victory when we manage to get to vivo on time.
Then the rest, driving back home is a smooth journey. (cox i have checked the route b4 hand)
I can read maps alright?!?!
some say girls cant read maps. hey! Generalisation. I do. =P

hey! i jus started my NM2208 learning journal blog not long ago.

The module is fun but every week you have to produce something like that.
Alas! This is only the beginning, there are more to come.
I have seen my frens taking media and design related mod.
And now, it is my turn to experience it~!
hahas. my tutor said that this is a VISUAL communication mod, not a design mod.
So no need to stress.
However, it is still something you need to possess to produce impressive works ma.
Some people in my class are really talented.

Drive for the first time on the expressway

woots people!

i forgot to take pics! but its okay. i shall take pics when i can drive the car out ON MY OwN.

Today was under my dad's supervision. I drove all the way from Pasir Ris back to my home in woodlands.

Taking two different highways. It is so thrilling!
hahas! I was actually quite surprise by my dad's confidence in me.

I thought he might implement some step by step Road Familiarisation Pan for me. hahas!

First attempt to drive on the road with a different car of a different 'mode'.
My dad's car is larger and is automatic.
I used to drive a manual car in the road with my instructor.

I can totally feel the difference.
You have a better control of a manual car, but driving an auto car is so much easier.

when u want your car to go faster, u have to gear up, no matter wad.
However, auto car, as long as ur foot is on the accelerator pedal, ur car can go very fast, sometimes, dangerously, without u knowing it. hahas! that's the difference, IMO.

My dad also very eccentric. He expects me to drive like a pro on the road after passing la.
Ridiculous! When i exceeded the stop line at a small T junction, he screams at me. I know i have made a mistake and i am aware of it. i did it only when it is safe.

I need time to get use to his car's brakes and stuff lei... ai yohh..
Luckily i have already prepared for his 'scream', otherwise i may suffer a Shock. hahas!
I appeared to be more calm than him! whahahaha!

then he laughed at me for shifting the driver's seat so front. then he said,' you need to drive a few more times before u can sit backwards.' hahas! wad a comment!

little things that my serious and stern dad did.....

the day before, i have borrowed the probation plates from iman. then i brought it home to show my parents. we went out for house viewing and i left it in the car.

At first, i though my dad did not plan to let me drive his car that soon. cox he seems to ignore my probation plates at first. i feel sad.

the next morning when i woke up. he still didnt mention about my plates.

so i asked him,'pa.. the plates how to stick?'

dad replied,'I stick them on this morning already.'

woots! brightens up my day! thanks dad! =D

I got my driving license!!!

Finally, i have complete one of my goals for this year! =D

Getting to fetch my mum from work this sunday! so excited!

ohh noo.. i have neglected my blog for quite sometime already. so so so sorry.. was really busy recently. like VERY!

Went out for CNY and stuff. Though we didnt go back to visit our relatives, we do have programmes on our own. hahas.

my ang bao money not very impressive, so we shall skip that.

I have been getting into sleeping debts and falling really back behind on my readings.

Especially NM2101. The book is so WORDY! I can fall sleep on the first page. argh!

Sometimes, i do wonder what am i busying with? When i come to think of it at times, i really cant give myself an answer. I didnt even have time to go out to shop anymore. what am i doing? urgh! gonna do a reflection.

My time management hasnt been a problem during my first semester.
However, now, with my BAD sleeping habits, my time management sucks.
gonna control control! bleahs...

I am currently very interested in this line of parfum by Paul Smith.
Guys. If you are looking for a nice perfume, i would strongly encourage this.
However, i have found out from the website, if i am not wrong, it mentioned that it is a unisex perfume. yea... i shall go check it out sometime.
